Invalid or Damaged CD Key from Merchandise

What do I do if I receive an invalid CD Key error or have a damaged CD Key from merchandise (T-shirts, plush, pins)?

If you are receiving an invalid or duplicate error when activating a CD Key you received from merchandise, please submit a ticket to Steam Support.

Please also include the following information with your question, if applicable:

  • Your Valve Store Order number
  • A receipt from the third party vendor where the item was purchased
  • The email address you used when you placed the order
  • Please send us a photo of the CD Key that is providing the error.
