Using your Steam.cfg for further troubleshooting

 Where do I place my Steam.cfg file for further troubleshooting?

Sometimes we ask that you place a Steam.cfg in a specific location to help assist with locating bugs and issues in Steam.

Use the following instructions to place your Steam.cfg in the correct location:

1. Exit Steam

2. Open Finder

3. Navigate to the folder containing the Steam application (typically Applications)

4. Right click on Steam > Click on Show Package Contents

5. Open Contents

6. Open MacOS

7. Place the provided Steam.cfg file here

8. Restart Steam
