When contacting Steam Support about a specific trade or Market transactions, it is extremely important to provide us with complete information.
Below are instructions on how to provide us with a screenshot of trades and market transactions:
This will allow you to view all previous trades, as well as item(s) included in these trades.
Saving a Screenshot
Important: When saving a screenshot, please include the account name located on the top right corner of the page. We do not need a screenshot of any trade offers.
To view your Steam Inventory History, please do the following:
- Launch Steam
- Hover over your profile name at the top and select ‘Inventory’
- Click ‘More’ in the top right, then 'View Inventory History'
This will allow you to view all previous trades, as well as the item(s) included in these trades.
To view your Steam Market History, please do the following:
- Launch Steam
- Hover over ‘Community’ in the top bar of the Steam interface and select ‘Market’
- Click ‘My Market History’.
This will allow you to view all previous market transactions, including any items or wallet credit involved in the transaction.
Note: If the items that are missing were not traded to another user, please provide a complete list of the items in your ticket that you appear to be missing. Please include the last date that you know that the items were on your account.
