What are bots and how do I add and use them?
Bot is the common term given to a computer-controlled player on a server.
The following multiplayer Valve games include bots:
To add bots in Condition Zero:
You can change other settings for your bots from the "CPU Player Options" tab. By default, Condition Zero will not automatically balance the number of players on each team so one team cannot have more than two more players than the other. You can turn this this functionality on from your developer console, by typing in mp_autoteambalance 1.
To add bots to Counter-Strike: Source:
You can change other settings for your bots from the "CPU Player Options" tab. By default, Counter-Strike: Source will automatically balance the number of players on each team so one team cannot have more than two more players than the other. You can turn this off from your developer console, by typing in mp_autoteambalance 0.
To add bots in Team Fortress 2:
By default, Team Fortress 2 will automatically balance the number of players on each team so one team cannot have more than two more players than the other. You can turn this off from your developer console, by typing in mp_autoteambalance 0.
