Signing up for a site license means converting a regular Steam user account into a site licensee account.
You can either use your existing Steam account to sign up for the license or you can go ahead and create a new Steam account here. We recommend that you do not use an account that you plan to use for other purposes, such as privately playing games.
In order to convert your user account into a site licensee account, go to Steamworks and login with the Steam account through which you would like to register the license.
Note: You might have to verify your email address after logging in.
Once you’re logged in, you will be able to click the “Sign Up” button that relates to registering a Cyber Café or VR Arcade.
Enter your company information and sign the NDA. After successfully finishing the sign-up process you will automatically be redirected back to the homepage, which will now have a link to sign the Steam Site License.
The top menu bar on Steamworks will now include “Sites”, where you will be able to enter your site location information and add new sites. This information is necessary for us to understand where site licensees are located and include them in possible future promotions. If you do not have a location yet, we recommend that you update this information once you know where your customers can find you.
For further information or technical issues with the registration process, feel free to contact us via email@example.com
Note: Users that already have a partner account and previously have signed an SDA can find the Site License Agreement under "Users&Permission" > "Company Details" directly below the "Signed Agreements" section.
