Secondary Installers

If you're encountering issues when launching or playing Napoleon: Total War, make sure everything installed correctly.

Aside from verifying your game cache and checking your connection with Steam, you may also need to manually run secondary installers required by this game.

Exit Steam entirely.

Browse to your Napoleon: Total War installation folder (Usually C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\napoleon total war\)

Run the following installers:

  • ...\Steam\Steamapps\common\napoleon total war\redist\directx\DXSETUP.EXE
  • ...\Steam\Steamapps\common\napoleon total war\redist\vcredist_x86-sp1.exe

Reboot your computer and test the issue again.


Downloadable content (DLC) addons

To view the additional content for this game that is registered to your account, please do the following:

  • Log in to Steam
  • Navigate to your Library
  • Right-click on the game.
  • Select "View downloadable content".
