Accessing Deluxe edition content

Important:

The most basic version of this game that is available on Steam is the Oblivion Game of the Year edition, found here. The version of the game that contains additional content is the Oblivion Game of the Year Deluxe edtion, found here. Ensure that you purchase the correct version of this title the first time - there is no upgrade path between these two versions of Oblivion.

Both the standard and the deluxe version of this game will be listed as "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" in your Steam library.

You can determine if you have purchased the Deluxe version by doing the following:

Right click on Oblivion in your Steam Library.

Click "View Downloadable Content"

If you purchased the Deluxe version, you will see "Oblivion Game of the Year DLC" listed.

Also, the Deluxe version will contain several additional *.esp content files.

These files will be located within the game folder at the following path:

\Steam\steamapps\common\oblivion\Data\

The Deluxe version will contain the following files:

DLCBattlehornCastle.esp
DLCFrostcrag.esp
DLCHorseArmor.esp
DLCMehrunesRazor.esp
DLCOrrery.esp
DLCShiveringIsles.esp
DLCSpellTomes.esp
DLCThievesDen.esp
DLCVileLair.esp
Knights.esp

The standard Game of the Year Edition will contain the following *.esp files only:

DLCShiveringIsles.esp
Knights.esp

You can verify that this content is being detected by the game by clicking the "Data Files" option from the game's launcher.

In this menu, each piece of additional content should have a check next to its name.

If you are missing content, please verify the files for this game:
